Howard Beach beautification
Howard Beach beautification? Yeah, if it could go back to the way it was in the old days, when there were plenty of empty lots, nice trees and open spaces. When Weiss and Sun Toy used to be right over the Crossbay bridge going toward Broad Channel and Anchors Aweigh and Andy's Pavillion were the main places on "the boulevard". HB has lots of beautiful homes now, but the lions on the pillars of the front lawns have definetely gotten out of hand. It was a quaint town and now it's over dramatized just a tad. Hope the young people living there today are able to appreciate it in their memory like we old timers do when we look back.
