Hamilton Beach bridge
The Hamilton bridge also, was a definite safety feature for evacuation. It must be brought back in order to rebuild Howard Beach. That pedestrian bridge built in the '60's was a very large waste of time and money. What did they need it for? They should have built one that would support trucks and cars for food distribution and built a large supermarket in Hamilton Beach. The people living there have been without conveniences for too long.

Hamilton Beach bridge
I agree with you on the bridges being rebuilt especially from Hamilton Beach to Howard Beach like years ago. I have lived in Hamilton beach now for 43 years. It is a safety hazard. The walk over bridge can hold vehicles but used only in emergencies. As far as the bridge from Howard Beach to Crossbay it would bring a lot more people into the area and Howard Beach would not be that private anymore.
