Wow, what memories have been coming back! This is a great site. I moved from OHB in 1984. Attented PS146 JHS 202 and John Adams 1974-1978.

We went to 146 and 202 the same years. I graduated from Beach Channel in 1978. Bill Caravello

Hello BSchmidt!, I grew up with your brother Robert, as kids played at your house all the time. I do miss those days, & the safe surroundings of Howard Beach.

SMA, you can say that again. It used to be so safe but I doubt it is now. It's so busy there now and the auto theft is very high. It's nice to remember it the way it was. I still have family and friends there but from what they tell me, it has changed. I guess that's true of most neighborhoods though. Years take a toll on a place even though there are some very expensive homes there.

I wonder what happened? Time does change neighborhoods, but you would think the residence of HB would'nt want to stand for that crap. When I lived there, you would never steal from anyone in your neighboorhood. If you did & got caught, no cops where called, you got the sh!t kicked out of you by the other kids. Plan on seeing HB in August.

Don't think the stealing is being done by kids, SMA. Do you?

I would like to think it might be some mis-guided kids,( gives a small ray of hope they can change) if the stealing is done by adults, then they should be dealt with in the harshest manner. (removal of fingers might work)
