Cross Bay Blvd
I think it was called the "Raunt" by many of those who went to watch the car races over the first bridge

Cross Bay Blvd
Hello all! I don't remember what the bikers called Cross Bay near the bridge. But I do remember hearing them ROAR past my bedroom window late at night in the summertime. We lived over Lynn's Marina from 1970-1978 (I was 15 in 70)and my memories of the sounds of the Blvd at night are vivid. My brother and I would stay up late and hang out the windows and watch the world go by on "our" Blvd. I have some great memories of those days and would love to share them with anyone willing to listen!
