Best teachers 
Does anyone remember Mrs. O'Riley's (P.S.146)current events? One of the articles I brought in was about Sputnik, haha. Does anyone remember how well rounded her class was? She taught so many different things. She even played the piano in assembly. She was a real teacher, a "born" teacher.

Best teachers 
[Lovely, I remember Mrs. O'Reilly (white hair)....she and Mrs. Fannon taught 8th grade at 146...Mr. Lehmann and Mr. Vogel, 7th grade.....they were strict but gave us all a great start for High School

Do you remember having "Assembly" every Tuesday morning and singing all the "Patriotic" songs and every once in a while having one class put on a "Play"?....or watching a "movie"...I loved Tuesdays,,,,

Yes, I remember assembly. We had some really good times in that school. Mrs. O'Reilly was great! She did a great Christmas show too. The plays were good. I was in one of them, in Miss Levin's class. I later met my husband at the night center there, lol.
