Vandalism to Automobiles

This week our drivers side car window was shot with either a pellet or bebe gun. Upon driving up and down our street we found 3 other people that were also hit. Has anyone else encountered this?

yes this has happened on my block numerous times recently...just last saturday night someone shot out the drivers side window on my brothers car at about 3:30am...i am on 102 street on 158th ave...where are u...we need to catch these vandals as this is getting to be an expensive problem.

We are on 163rd Avenue in Rockwood Park. We also found 3 other cars on the same avenue with driver side windows blown out

Vandalism to Automobiles

From the thread I have read, it would seem it is more than one group of mindless a$$holes. Its a shame, Howard Beach could be transformed back to its former glory days where neighbors looked out for each other & each others property. (quhectric24 - I lived at 102-09 158th ave)

Last name is Ambrosio. Moved out in 1980.(I hated to leave) Back in the late 70's most of the car vandalisim was the removal of certain name plates(Nova,Cougar,Corvette.) Very rarely did car windows get broke. Hope you guys catch these kids & give them a good old fashion kick in the a$$!

There is no need for such nonsense! The police should patrol certain areas where this is happening. Howard Beach is not that large an area that the police couldn't keep a closer watch on it. They might have to start stopping cars at random for a check of contents. It is a very expensive proposition and it's also very dangerous! No one should have to live like that. Howard Beach started to get that way in 1968 with all the car thefts. I moved out in 1972. I can imagine how bad it is now! It was such a nice place, it's a shame.
