Imus

I was listening to talk radio yesterday and a DJ was suggesting boycotting the sponsors of The Imus. However, they continue to support Jackson and Sharpton. Both have made racist remarks about white people. Especially the New York Jewish community. There is also no mention of boycotting the sponsors of rap artist who use language worse than Imus did. Sounds like the double standard strikes again. I am happy to see the charges dropped against the Duke Students. They were presumed guilty from the start. Evidence that would of cleared them right away was withheld. I don't hear a public outcry condeming this young lady. As a matter of fact Jackson said he would let her keep the scholarship awarded to her from his foundation. What a shame. Black on white crime is just crime, but white on black is a hate crime. I am not excusing what Imus said. But I do believe in free speach. Love to here from some old friends

Both Jackson & Sharpton are a joke! Always showing up to get there faces in the media. Imus said" Knappy hair ho's" Once, How many times has it been replayed thru out the media? Seems to me they are all just as guilty as Imus. But should he be guilty of anything? He has his right to freedom of speech just as any American. If it had been a black radio host, none of this would be going on. Anyone interested in opening the United Caucasian College Fund? How far do you think we would get?

Does any one know if Imus' remarks were his own words or if he was quoting 'lyrics' from a rap song?
