HB in the mid 60s
I was going through some old pictures the other day and came up with some of my old boat, at Cliff's, in HB in the mid 60s. It sure brought back a lot of old memories. I grew up in Queens, and had boats at Cliff's from 1053 to 1975, when my job transferred me to Indianapolis. It was nice to think again about those great days on the bay.....(and the nights too...)

Yes, I remember Mrs. Cliff (Hoffman). What a nice lady, always smiling!

I remember Mrs. Hoffman's red hair and big smile. She was a great woman, indeed! Do you remember that storm of 1969? I moved in '72 to Long Island but the '60's in HB were the best. Everyone knew everyone. Is it still like that? You couldn't do one thing wrong without your parents knowing about it before you got home. Kind of like Peyton Place, LOL

Margie was a great person...always happy. She and Cliff Sr. were great ballroom dancers. She also was a seamstress and worked in RH at a place that made awnings. She once made me a cover for my boat. I sure miss those days...
